Introduction to jazz improvisation

9:30 - 2:30 each day.

Cost: $250

Learn how to improvise. We take the mystery out of improvisation while you learn through an easy and logical step by step method. Study with Saul Richardson, an internationally recognised teacher. The method is practical, proven and fun! For students with little or no experience in improvisation ages 10 to 17 years.

Note that this course is NOT suitable for beginner musicians. At least two years experience, or equivalent, on an instrument is a minimum. Note that students will need to improvise during the course, as it is a practical course in jazz improvisation.

Both A... and J.... absolutely loved the music - felt that you were extremely thoughtful, helpful and clearly non-judgemental. They came home each of 3 days having learnt a lot and understanding how useful the information and music is and will be. You clearly created a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere with, essentially, unkown young kids. The concert was fabulous - amazing how much they learnt in the 3 days
