Introduction to jazz improvisation
9:00 - 12:30 each day.
Cost: $250
Learn how to improvise. We take the mystery out of improvisation while you learn through an easy and logical step by step method. Study with Saul Richardson, an internationally recognised teacher. The method is practical, proven and fun! For students with little or no experience in improvisation ages 10 to 17 years.
Note that this course is NOT suitable for beginner musicians. At least two years experience, or equivalent, on an instrument is a minimum.
Monday December 22 - Tuesday 23
Intermediate/advanced improvisation
9:30 - 3:00 each day
Cost: $250
This workshop is aimed at more experienced improvisers. It is for young musicians who want to begin playing through chord changes and exploring more advanced techniques. It is not for beginners and requires quite a high standard of playing. It is suitable for all instruments. As always, the course works logically through a clearly-defined set of skills. Ages 13 - 19.

Supervision available from 8:30am - 4:00pm.
Cost: $250 (extra supervision from 2:30 - 4pm $15/day)
